Managing Director

Wimal Fernando is the Managing Director of the company with 40 years of experience in the natural stone and construction industry.

Upon completion of 30 years of service in the Middle East in varying capacities, He incorporated SPD Marble & Granite, a division of Sausiri Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka in 2007.

1985 – 1998 : Sales & Contracts Manager – UBF Industries – Bahrain.

1998 – 2002 : General Manager – Natural Stone Co – Oman.

2003 – 2010 : Vice President – Branco Group of Companies – Bahrain/Oman.

2010 – 2026 : Managing Director – SPD Marble & Granite – Sri Lanka.

Rangi Fernando
Director

Rangi Fernando is a member of the Board of Directors at SPD Marble & Granite, bringing experience in business, internnal partnerships, and organisational leadership.

Shalini Fernando
Director

Shalini Fernando is a Director of the company and the Company Secretary. She is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia.

She brings experience in corporate and commercial law, governance, and cross-border legal services and is passionate about innovation and sustainable business.

A Chartered Accountant (Australia & New Zealand) with over 20 years’ experience in the Industry, Naween has a Bachelor of Commence from Deakin University, Melbourne Australia and has experience in both the Accounting and Audit sector.
